Fire District 5 keeps its Fire Rating

Chief Foster met with Washington’ Survey and Rating Bureau WSRB on October 23rd . We are keeping our Fire Rating. We have a 8A within five miles of a recognized fire station and a 9A outside of five miles of a recognized fire station. Under the National Fire Protection Association standard 1720 FD-5 is considered a remote Fire District. To have that kind of a rating takes a lot of hard work.to accomplish. THANK YOU Commissioners ,Officers, Firefighters and Support Crew for your continued work to protect on community. We are considering taking the next step to reducing our rating one more point to a 8 rating. which would require to flow 250 gallons of water a minute for 30 minutes or 7500 gallons of water without interruption.
